Private Yoga Therapy

One-on-one yoga therapy built around your body, your health history, and your values

What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy uses a biopsychosocial-spiritual model, meaning we work with body, mind, and emotions together, not just the part that hurts. It’s for anyone who wants guidance and a plan for their health, and especially for people living with chronic pain.

Come as you are.

No flexibility, fitness, or yoga experience needed. Together we’ll find tools to move with more ease, calm your body and mind, and ease pain, be it physical or emotional. The strength to heal already exists in you. My goal is to help you find it… sometimes it’s just hard to see on your own!

What Other Clients Have to Say

  • “As someone struggling with chronic pain, Julie helped educate me on what was really going on in my mind and body more than any doctor did. She taught me a new way to look at my pain, and a new way to take care of myself. Over my time working with her, I gained confidence in movement and I saw an overall reduction in my pain. Most importantly, I now feel like I have the tools to influence my pain, which makes me feel empowered going forward!”

    ~Cosette

  • “You gave me my life back. Your sessions and teaching showed me how to cope with chronic pain. I had not been coping or functioning at all. I just sat in a chair and hoped the pain would go away. You know how to personally teach, and reach an individual to help them cope with a serious problem. Your calm and caring way of reaching out to an individual was a huge help to me! How do you thank someone that has given you your life back? I was so scared and you calmly helped me feel my way back into everyday activities. I will never forget you. I can’t thank you enough.”

    ~Linda

  • “I felt so relaxed. I am a type 2 diabetic and stress highly affects my glucose levels. I was under extreme stress for 3 months prior to my work with Julie. My levels were running high at about 190. After my second session with Julie, I felt so relaxed that I decided to check my glucose level to see if it had made a difference. My reading was 160, which is in range!! It was wonderful to see the direct correlation between the work I was doing with Julie, and how it was affecting my health!”

    ~Pam

  • “Julie helped me learn to control my anxiety with deep breathing and visualization. I have terminal cancer. She made me feel comfortable and cared for. I looked forward to our sessions. I highly recommend working with her if you have a lot of pain or a chronic illness.”

    ~Joy

  • “Julie’s professionalism is supported by her warmth, patience, and kindness. She is accessible, responsive, and organized. She applies her depth of knowledge to my very specific needs. Working with Julie has given me a level of confidence that I can independently use these tools in the future to vastly improve my movement and comfort. Plus, she’s fun! I plan to work with Julie again in the future. Not sure I can live without her.”
